Derek O’Neill’s Counsel Accused of Dirty Legal Tactics 9-5-19

In a letter filed with the U.S. District Court of Eastern New York on September 5, 2019, Derek O'Neill's legal counsel is accused of multiple dirty tactics in the attempt to obstruct legal process.

"This is both an outright lie, as well as a false equivalency … which is intended to mislead the Court."

O'NEILL'S COUNSEL ACCUSED OF  LYING, DELINQUENCY, AND MISLEADING COURT

Below is page 1 of the letter filed by the Plaintiff, in the lawsuit against O'Neill for defamation and breach of contract.  The Plaintiff is a medical doctor who was a former client of O'Neill's.   Page 1 of the letter calls a statement made by O'Neill's legal counsel as a "gross misstatement", and says that O'Neill's counsel has been "delinquent" in complying with deadlines.  Says Plaintiff's attorney Justin Mercer, "This is both an outright lie, as well as a false equivalency … which is intended to mislead the Court."

O'NEILL'S COUNSEL ACCUSED OF  "LAME ATTEMPTS TO SAVE FACE" AND "DILATORY DISCOVERY BEHAVIOR"
The second page elaborates on the allegations against O'Neill and his counsel, saying, "[T]heir 'production' of irrelevant documents appears to be a lame attempt to save face for their knowingly delinquent and abusive productions..."
Mr. Mercer, Esq., further asserts that O'Neill and his counsel have displayed "dilatory discovery behavior."

2017 DEFAMATON & BREACH OF CONTRACT LAWSUIT

The lawsuit against O'Neill was originally filed in 2017, and two years later it is not finished. That does suggest that there has been obstruction going on in the attempt to delay and block forward movement on the Plaintiff's claims, and lends further credence to the Plaintiff's claims that O'Neill's legal counsel has been dishonest and obstructive.
